Brazilian actress/model GREICE SANTO is accusing Oilers Owner and Silver Pictures financier DARYL KATZ of "offering her 'millions' of dollars and a movie role in exchange for sex." Santo, who "had a recurring role in 'Jane the Virgin,' alleges that she was twice lured to the hotel room" of Katz, with "promises that he could help her acting career." Santo said that although she "spurned Katz’ advances, she later received two wire transfers totaling $35,000." Katz’ attorneys have accused Santo and her husband of "attempting to extort" $3M from Katz as the price for "keeping quiet" (VARIETY.com, 4/6).

STUDENTS ARE OUR FUTURE: Indiana Univ.'s Mark Cuban Center for Sports Media & Technology has "developed its first virtual reality game" with the "help of a savvy student." The game, developed by IU senior CATHERINE ONOFREY, "gives players the feeling they are shooting hoops" inside Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. Players also "will see information and statistics for past and present players -- men and women -- in the IU basketball program." Meanwhile, during the men's team's last regular-season home game, IU "partnered with Adidas to set a world record for the largest collective virtual reality viewing experience" (IBJ.com, 4/5).

: NASCAR driver DALE EARNHARDT JR. on Thursday spoke at a concussion symposium at Heinz Field co-organized by the Steelers and Univ. of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
