Fashion brand Bills Khakis has signed a one-year sponsorship agreement with America's Best Racing, the fan development arm of The Jockey Club. Financial terms were not disclosed. Bills Khakis becomes the official khaki of ABR, and will be the presenting sponsor of select feature content and social media promotions and giveaways. Additionally, Bills Khakis execs will receive VIP hospitality at some of thoroughbred horse racing's biggest events. Founded in '90, Bills Khakis is a menswear line of jeans, shirts, shorts, boxers and belts, all designed in the U.S. and produced in American factories (Liz Mullen, Staff Writer).

JUST HAVING FUN? In DC, Marissa Payne wrote T-shirt company Smack Apparel "released a new design poking fun" at Duke G Grayson Allen, but "not everyone is laughing." Last Monday the law firm Olive & Olive sent a cease and desist letter to the company "demanding it immediately stop selling the shirt, which features a silhouette of Allen alongside the words, 'Yo Grayson … Why you trippin’?'" Smack Apparel Owner Wayne Curtiss in a response letter sent Friday, said that his design was "protected under the First Amendment because it counts as 'critical commentary and satire'" (WASHINGTON POST, 4/2).
