Buyers & Sellers: Marlins' Ichiro Suzuki Places L.A. Condo On The Market For $2.349M

Marlins RF ICHIRO SUZUKI has put his condominium in downtown L.A. on the market for $2.349M. The 2,030-square-foot unit includes a "large common area, a kitchen with stainless steel appliances, one bedroom and 2.5 bathrooms." A 1,000-square-foot "private rooftop patio tops the residence and takes in city-to-ocean views" (LATIMES.com, 3/7).

CALIFORNIA DREAMING: Warriors Exec BOD member JERRY WEST has purchased a home in La Quinta, Calif., for $2.8M from Golf HOFer FRED COUPLES (LATIMES.com, 3/8)....Lions WR MARVIN JONES bought a home in Poway, Calif., for $2.3M. The more than 9,000 square feet of living space feature a "grand foyer with sweeping staircases that open to the dining room and a living room with a fireplace." Other features include a "gym, a game room and a garden room with a fireplace" (LATIMES.com, 3/8).

BUYERS & SELLERS: Former NBAer PAUL WESTPHAL has put his Palos Verdes Estates, Calif., home on the market for $3.499M. Within the 4,500 square feet of living space are "formal living and dining rooms, an updated kitchen, an office, four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms" (LATIMES.com, 3/3)....Baseball HOFer JOHN SMOLTZ in '12 put his Atlanta estate on the market for $7.2M. The home still is on the market but going for $5.49M (AJC.com, 3/6)....Former NFLer SHAUN PHILLIPS put his Beverly Hills condo on the market for $1.875M. The remodeled corner unit has a "living room with a fireplace, an updated kitchen, a dining nook, two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms." Phillips "bought the condo two years ago" for $1.599M (LATIMES.com, 3/9)....Bears G KYLE LONG placed his four-bedroom, 3,970-square-foot brick Georgian-style house in Lake Forest, Ill., on the market for $1.45M. The home includes a "lower level with wiring for two TV systems, an exercise room, a fireplace and an artisan-crafted, full service bar with custom backlighting" (CHICAGOTRIBUNE.com, 3/6)....Panthers QB DEREK ANDERSON has put a Scottsdale home on the market for $1.05M. The 3,284-square-foot home is a "single-level contemporary, which was recently remodeled with luxury finishes, including French oak wood floors, a new kitchen, a new audiovisual system, and a heated pool and spa" (SPORTS.YAHOO.com, 3/2).
