Megadeth Frontman Dave Mustaine Pushing New Craft Beer Into Several Sports Venues

A craft beer developed by Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine has made its way inside two pro sports venues, and is in talks with one other about adding the beer. "A Tout le Monde," from Quebec-based brewer Unibroue, is named after one of the heavy metal band’s most popular songs. The beer debuted in October and Mustaine has since struck deals to sell the brew at Talking Stick Resort Arena (Suns) and Joe Louis Arena (Red Wings). He also is in talks with the Predators about having the beer sold at Bridgestone Arena. Mustaine: “Us going to a sports arena is trying to think in a large scale.” Mustaine made a promotional appearance at a UFC Fight Night event at Talking Stick Resort Arena last month, and he also attended a recent Red Wings game, greeting fans and signing Megadeth posters. Mustaine, who lives in Nashville, said he is a big hockey fan, noting his favorite team is the Predators. “It’s really great to see all these sports venues taking it, and I think a lot of it has to do with what the beer is,” Mustaine said. “When you go into an arena or a concert, you don’t want to get bogged down with real heavy beer. It’s really refreshing.”
