Hardwired Mentality: Metallica Set To Tour North American Stadiums This Year

Metallica this morning announced plans to "storm stadiums, arenas and festival stages this summer" on their first full North America tour since '09, according to Daniel Kreps of ROLLING STONE. The 25-date '17 WorldWired Tour will begin May 10 at Baltimore's M&T Bank Stadium. The band played a "handful of U.S. small venue gigs" last year, in addition to playing the "first ever concert at Minneapolis' U.S. Bank Stadium" (ROLLINGSTONE.com, 2/13).
