Unless you’re a fitness buff, it takes some real motivation to keep up a gym routine, even with the ability to watch live TV on the elliptical. Imagine if instead of repeating the same drab routine every time, you could work out under the guidance of fitness experts and athletes spanning the globe. Think Brazilian football star Neymar Jr. and gold medal-winning sprinter Mo Farah.

At its core, NABUFIT, is a fitness training app with an accompanying website that offers fitness plans and nutrition advice. Users of the free app are able to customize workout plans to their own fitness and skill levels across a range of workout regimens, from cardio to kettlebell. The free version comes with videos of workouts performed by widely recognized fitness trainers and athletes while subscribers to NABUFIT Premium get access to advertisement-free HD content and personal videos with the app’s brand ambassadors.

Last October, the app extended its partnership with footballer Neymar Jr. to include his own Neymar Jr. Project Institute, which includes a Brazil-based youth academy whose students will be NABUFIT ambassadors.

“I am very pleased that my Institute is now also working with NABUFIT,” Neymar Jr. said in a statement. “We all want to help give the young people a better future. I know that this will be a great success, and I am proud to be a part of it.”

With the added level of partnership, NABUFIT gains greater insight into the youth market’s training and fitness tendencies, and will include exercises on the app that are specific to soccer.

The app itself is trending upward and aims to include more sports. As of Jan. 17, it had 510,000 downloads and has been bringing on numerous fitness trainers on top of the more recognizable names like Neymar, Farah, table tennis player Michael Maze and former Danish footballer Peter Schmeichel.
