V Foundation Starts New Fundraising Campaign With Event Hosted By Bodenheimer

Former ESPN President GEORGE BODENHEIMER hosted The V Foundation’s “Not A Moment To Lose” reception last night at The Palm on 50th Street in N.Y. to mark the start of its new fundraising campaign that hopes to raise $200M by ’20 for cancer research. The event drew top execs and board members close to the V Foundation. Among those spotted were Duke AD KEVIN WHITE, ESPN’s ED DURSO and ED ERHARDT, NBC Sports’ MIKE TIRICO and Activation Blizzard Media Networks Chair STEVE BORNSTEIN. ABC’s ROBIN ROBERTS was a special guest at the event and announced the campaign during halftime of ESPN’s “MNF” game. The event included a performance by Tony Award-winning singer and actor CHRISTIAN HOFF. The fundraising campaign launched at the start of ESPN’s 10th annual Jimmy V Week for Cancer Research, which runs through Friday.
