Devils Sign New Jersey-Based Investors Bank Team's Presenting Partner

Investors Bank has signed a multiyear partnership with the Devils that will see it serve as both the official bank of the team as well as its presenting partner. The bank also will become a partner of Prudential Center and receive naming rights of an entrance to the arena, which will now be called Investors Bank Tower. The entrance will be lit green to coincide with the company’s logo. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The New Jersey-based bank additionally will sponsor team-produced content during games, including a fan-generated content series and a fan-voted monthly player award. The two will also work together on local community and charitable initiatives. Devils President Hugh Weber said this partnership fits the team’s One Jersey platform, in which the team is trying to unify people and communities throughout the state through the team, as well as align with companies with that belief. Arena naming-rights partner Prudential Financial is based in Newark, while Barnabas Health, which signed on as naming-rights partner for the stadium’s practice facility, is based in West Orange. “We’ve made a conscious decision to make sure we’ve had partnerships with a few key people as opposed to stretching ourselves too thin,” said Weber. Devils CRO Adam Davis said with more than 19 Fortune 500 companies in northern New Jersey, the team is continuing to work towards carving out the state as its own marketplace, one that is not connected to the greater N.Y. area. “We want to come in and own the market, as well as work with companies who are proud to call it home as well,” he said.
