Marketplace Roundup

ADWEEK's Christopher Heine reported Twitter, in conjunction with the NBA, has "sold its first ads for live original sports video content, reeling in American Express and JBL Harman as sponsors." Those brands will "appear in and around" Turner Sports-run shows "The Starters" and "The Warmup." An episode of "The Starters" aired yesterday in its weekly time slot at 11:00am ET, while "The Warmup" runs on Thursdays at 7:30pm (ADWEEK.com, 11/15).

THE CAPTAIN: Topps, the exclusive trading card partner of MLB, has signed former MLBer Derek Jeter to a multiyear autograph trading card deal. Jeter's autographs will return to Topps for the first time in over a decade. His autographed cards will appear in '16 Topps Dynasty Baseball and '16 Topps Baseball Transcendent Collection. Jeter will also be featured in '17 Topps products, starting with the '17 Topps Baseball Series 1, available Feb. 1 and '16 Topps Tribute Baseball (Topps).

NEW FACES: A.J. Foyt Racing will have Carlos Munoz and Conor Daly replace Takuma Sato and Jack Hawksworth as drivers for the '17 IndyCar season. Munoz will drive the No. 14, while Daly will drive the No. 4 entry. ABC Supply will "remain the team sponsor" through '18, making it the "longest active primary sponsor for a team in the Verizon IndyCar Series." Next year will mark the 13th season of the partnership (USA TODAY, 11/16).
