NBCU promoted Exec VP/Entertainment Ad Sales DAN LOVINGER to NBC Sports Exec VP/Sales & Marketing, "replacing SETH WINTER, who remains as a consultant." Lovinger "takes over sports sales as the company gears up for a World Cup, Super Bowl and Winter Olympics" (BROADCASTINGCABLE.com, 10/17)....NBC Sports Group also has reorganized the structure and leadership of its RSN business. CSN Bay Area and CSN California President & GM TED GRIGGS has been promoted to the new role of NBC Sports Regional Networks President of Group and Strategic Production & Programming Leader. Griggs will be based in Stamford, Conn., and specifically oversee CSN New England, CSN Philadelphia, The Comcast Network and CSN Mid-Atlantic. He will report to NBC Sports Regional Networks President DAVID PRESCHLACK. CSN New England President & GM BILL BRIDGEN also has been promoted to NBC Sports Regional Networks President & Group Leader, with oversight for CSN Bay Area, CSN California, CSN Chicago and CSN Northwest. Bridgen will relocate to S.F. A new CSN New England GM will be named in the near term. CSN Bay Area and CSN California also named NBC Sports Regional Group Senior VP/Production, Programming & Station Operations TOM STATHAKES Senior VP & GM. He also will relocate to S.F. (NBC).

EXECS: Veteran global sports marketing consultant CHRISTOPHER SONNTAG has left his position at WME-IMG, where he led a team advising Visa on its Olympics and FIFA rights.
