Buyers & Sellers: Warriors' Stephen Curry Purchases California Estate For $5.775M

Warriors G STEPHEN CURRY purchased an estate in Alamo, Calif., for $5.775M. The 10,290-square-foot home "boasts a main house with five bedroom suites and a guest house with sauna." The main house includes a "media/billiard room and library among many other amenities." The 1.5-acre property also has an "infinity-edge pool, manicured gardens and a six-car garage" (MERCURYNEWS.com, 10/11)....Australian swimmer IAN THORPE has put his home in L.A.'s Laurel Canyon area on the market for $950,000. Built in '61, the house measures at 1,000 square feet and has walls of glass that "look out onto an arch-topped balcony centering on the canyon below" (LATIMES.com, 10/11)....Former MLBer KOSUKE FUKUDOME and his wife, KAZUE, "listed their three-bedroom, 2,124-square-foot condominium unit" on the 30th floor of the Streeterville tower in Chicago for $1.65M (CHICAGOTRIBUNE.com, 10/10).
