NFL Marketing Notes: Carson Wentz' Jersey Becomes No. 1 Online Seller After Eagles Win

Fanatics Dir of Communications Brandon Williams said that Eagles rookie QB Carson Wentz' jersey became the "No. 1 online seller" after their win over the Browns on Sunday. According to Fanatics, the Wentz jersey, which sells for $80 to $150, also was the "top-selling Eagles shirt during the off-season, and the top markets this week for Wentz merchandise" include N.Y., DC, Baltimore and L.A. (PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, 9/15).

MARSHALL LAW: Denver-based KUSA-NBC's Allison Sylte noted musician Russell Simmons is offering Broncos LB Brandon Marshall an "endorsement deal" with one of his companies, RushCard. This comes after both Centurylink and Air Academy Credit Union "dropped Marshall as a spokesperson" following his National Anthem protest (9NEWS.com, 9/14). Marshall: "I spoke with [Simmons] the last two days. He's going to talk to me today about the parameters of the deal, what comes with. I lost two, but I gain one" (PROFOOTBALLTALK.com, 9/15).

: The NFLPA has launched its new "Find Yours" ad campaign to highlight the off-the-field interests and talents of its players. The NFLPA print and digital campaign is the first of its kind for a professional sports player's union. Giants RB Rashad Jennings and Ravens G John Urschel are among the first players featured in the campaign. Coyne Advertising created the campaign (NFLPA).
