Executive Transactions

The NFL promoted ROSS KETOVER to NFL Films Senior Exec, where he will oversee the production and creative group. Ketover replaces GLENN ADAMO, who left earlier this month to set up Ivanhoe Media & Entertainment. A 21-year NFL Films vet, Ketover will report to NFL Chief Content Officer JORDAN LEVIN. Ketover’s direct reports at NFL Films are: VP/Audio & Video Operations JERRY MAHLER; Exec Producer PAT KELLEHER; Head of Field Operations, Project Management, Talent Coordination & Footage Acquisition KENNIE SMITH; and Camera Department Head HANK MCELWEE (John Ourand, Staff Writer).

FOLLOWING THE NORTH STAR: The T'Wolves named 49ers COO ETHAN CASSON CEO, replacing ROB MOOR, who stepped down June 17. Casson had a previous stint with the T'Wolves from '99-'10, rising to Senior VP (Minneapolis STAR TRIBUNE, 7/11). Casson was part of the SBJ/SBD "Forty Under 40" class of '14 (THE DAILY).

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS: Blue Jackets Exec VP/Business Operations LARRY HOEPFNER is "leaving the club" after 11 years. He had been in his most recent position since '10 after joining the organization in '05 as Senior VP/Business Operations (BIZJOURNALS.com, 7/8). The Blue Jackets also named OHL London Knights co-Owner BASIL MCRAE Dir of Player Personnel (BOSTON GLOBE, 7/9). Other hirings by the NHL club include: CASSIE GOOD as Graphic Designer; BRENNA FRATTAROLI as Premium Account Specialist; and JOSHUA LATZKO, KATELYN BENO, CARRIE BARROW and COLTEN RENNER as Inside Sales Reps. The Blue Jackets also promoted PAIGE SHEPHERD to Premium Account Specialist (THE DAILY).

EXECS: The Bulls named CHIP SCHAEFER Dir of Sports Performance and promoted SHAUN HICKOMBOTTOM to Senior Manager of Player Development & Team Services (Bulls).
