NFL Marketing Notes: Frontier Looks To Crack Tampa Market With Buccaneers Deal

In Tampa, Ashley Gurbal Kritzer reported the Buccaneers and Frontier Communications "have signed a major, multiyear sponsorship deal" making Frontier the team's "official residential television and Internet provider." Frontier will have a booth at Raymond James Stadium on game day. Promos will include "integrated marketing initiatives including product and services sweepstakes, Buccaneers-themed street team activations, product demonstrations and unique fan-focused contests" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 6/28).

TAKING OUT THE TRASH: In Philadelphia, John George reported the Eagles have signed an "'extensive' multi-year corporate partnership" with Delaware-based Waste Masters Solutions. Under the agreement, Waste Masters Solutions "will serve as the organization’s 'waste solution partner' at Lincoln Financial Field and the NovaCare Complex, the team’s practice facility." The Eagles generate "more than 850 tons of waste, on average, each year." Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed (BIZJOURNALS.com, 6/27).

DOGS ALL AROUND
: The Smith Provision company yesterday announced a multiyear agreement with Heinz Field, making the company's products available at the stadium. The partnership will provide Smith's with marketing opportunities at the venue and a presence on the Steelers' broadcasts and website. Additionally, Smith's hot dogs and kielbasa will be served at all Steelers home games and during all events and concerts at Heinz Field (Smith's).
