TENNIS.com's Jon Levey noted Novak Djokovic with his French Open win now holds the career Grand Slam, and for the accomplishment he "received a mid-career gift from his racquet sponsor Head -- a golden Graphene XT Speed." The racquet "was given to Djokovic" by Head Owner & CEO Johan Eliasch. It is "inscribed with all of Djokovic’s Grand Slam victories to date." Head has "no plans to release a collector's edition to the public" (TENNIS.com, 6/7). 

PATCH IT UP: Pacers COO Rick Fuson said that the team "will start conversations with companies in the next few months" about signing a jersey patch sponsorship. In Indianapolis, Nate Taylor notes St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital is "partnering with the Pacers to build a new, practice facility across the street from the arena that will be named the St. Vincent Center." As part of that deal, the St. Vincent logo is "on team's practice jerseys." St. Vincent spokesperson Jonathan Coffin said that the hospital "has valued its partnership with the Pacers." But he would "not comment further in regards to a jersey sponsorship" (INDIANAPOLIS STAR, 6/9).

SPELL CHECK: The AP's Amies Just noted adidas has apologized for "misspelling 'Colombia in advertisements featuring the team in new jerseys" for the Copa America Centenario. Social media this week "widely ridiculed the company for spelling the country 'Columbia.'" adidas "has provided the uniforms for Colombia" since '11 (AP, 6/8).
