Seahawks' Russell Wilson Releases "Good Man Brand" Clothing Line To Be Sold At Nordstrom

Seahawks QB Russell Wilson has a new clothing line named "Good Man Brand," which Nordstrom is "carrying in its stores," according to Tricia Romano of the SEATTLE TIMES. The clothes "ranged from the casual zip-up white jacket ... to dress shirts with checkered patterns," and the line was designed with the "25-year-old guy" in mind. Wilson called the brand "aspirational," and said it is made for a man "searching for his first job." The zip-up white jacket that Wilson wore at the release "was selling for $168," gray suede shoes went for $328 and button-down shirts were going for $198. Borrowing the same "business model as Toms Shoes," the brand donates $3 per item sold -- a reflection of Wilson's jersey number -- to his charity the Why Not You Foundation. A security guard on site said that people "started to arrive" at 9:00am PT, and the line inside was "solely for people who purchased merchandise" (SEATTLE TIMES, 3/1).
