Veritix Founder & CEO SAM GERACE is winding down his role with the ticketing company and will officially depart at the end of the month. Veritix last June merged with AXS and the combined entity will continue to be led by President & CEO BRYAN PEREZ. Gerace, a longtime tech entrepreneur, played a key role in the creation of the company a decade ago with Cavaliers Owner DAN GILBERT. He also helped orchestrate the company’s work with numerous professional and collegiate properties, as well as the union with AXS (Eric Fisher, Staff Writer). 

EXECS: The Lions have fired Dir of Community Relations ROB WOOLEY, who joined the club in '12 "after working for the NHL." He was "instrumental" in the Lions' "many events in the community and ran the team's philanthropic efforts" (DETROITNEWS.com, 2/19)....The A's promoted the following: MARK BASHUK to Dir of Database Services, ZAK BASCH to Media Relations Manager, WARREN CHU to Senior Manager of Broadcast Services, BRIAN DITUCCI to Senior Dir of Ticket Sales, RANDY DURAN to Senior Manager of Stadium Services, DAVID FRIEBERG to Senior Manager of IT, MELISSA GUZMAN to Senior Coordinator of Community Relations, NATHAN HAYES to Senior Dir of IT, CAROLYN JONES to Exec Assistant to President & Ownership, KIM KUBO to Senior Dir of HR, DANNY ROACH to Manager of Database Services, EVAN TWOMEY to Corporate Partnerships Coordinator and GORDON WILSON to Senior Account Exec.
