Buyers & Sellers: Reinsdorf Selling Chicago Home For $1.5M; Cowherd Lists In South L.A.

Bulls and White Sox Chair JERRY REINSDORF last week "went under contract to sell his 4,778-square-foot contemporary-style house" in Northfield, Ill., which he relisted for $1.549M. The house was built in '84 and "currently is advertised as having just two bedrooms." Other features in the house, which "has been renovated, include 3 1/2 baths, high ceilings, walls of windows, a private office and a large basement with a recreation area and a workout room" (CHICAGOTRIBUNE.com, 1/25).

LOOKING FOR A BUYER: Fox Sports radio host COLIN COWHERD "has listed his house" in Manhattan Beach, Calif., for sale at $3.339M -- roughly six months after he bought it. Family and living rooms, a "formal dining room with a wine closet, five bedrooms and four bathrooms are within more than 3,700 square feet of white-walled space." A tiled backsplash, pendant lighting and a wide island/breakfast bar "highlight the open-plan kitchen" (LATIMES.com, 1/22)....Hawks G JEFF TEAGUE has put his condo atop Buckhead's Terminus Building in Atlanta "on the market." The "stylish 4,000-square foot refurbished penthouse has been on sale since November" for $2.18M (AJC.com, 1/27)....Former Maryland football coach RANDY EDSALL has put his five-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom house in Fulton, Md., "on the market for $975,000" (BALTIMORESUN.com, 1/24)....Braves 1B FREDDIE FREEMAN's home in Roswell, Ga., is "on the market for $775,000." The six-bedroom, 7.5-bathroom house "features a two-story foyer, a family room, formal dining and a den off the kitchen with a stone fireplace" (AJC.com, 1/26).
