Construction On Packers' Titletown District Could Begin Several Weeks Earlier Than Projected

Construction on the Packers' Titletown District "could begin in mid-March, several weeks sooner than initially projected," according to Richard Ryman of the GREEN BAY PRESS-GAZETTE. The village of Ashwaubenon, which "hosted an open house about the district Thursday, issued a revised timeline that moved final-approval consideration for the initial phase of the project to March 8." It was "scheduled for March 22." Village President Mike Aubinger told the nearly 300 people in attendance that the village "has worked with the Packers to address concerns, but it's no different than other developments." Ryman notes the Titletown District "is 34 acres the Packers own immediately west of Lambeau Field, all in the village" (GREEN BAY PRESS-GAZETTE, 1/22).
