Buyers & Sellers: Sergei Fedorov Sells South Beach Penthouse For $11M

Hockey HOFer SERGEI FEDOROV "sold the penthouse of the Portofino tower on South Beach to a fellow Russian" for $11M. The penthouse "totals 5,680 square feet, with four bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms and 1,920 square feet of rooftop terraces" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 1/12)....Basketball HOFer MITCH RICHMOND sold his home in a gated Calabasas, Calif., community for $7.88M. The 12,953-square-foot Mediterranean-style home features a "full-sized gym, a home theater with stadium seating, and a wine cellar with a tasting room." A separate entertainment wing "decorated in NBA memorabilia has a curved wet bar and game room" (LATIMES.com, 1/12)....Former MLBer BRET BOONE has put his estate in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., "up for lease at $38,000 while lowering the asking price for the property" by about $1M. The single-story Tuscan-style house in a gated community "returned to the market in November" for about $9.5M. It is now listed at $8.499M. The 12,521-square-foot custom house with "eight bedrooms, eight full bathrooms and four half baths was completed" in '08 (LATIMES.com, 1/8).
