STRIVR Launches New Division To Create Virtual Reality Content And Experiences

LAS VEGAS, NV. – Virtual Reality is one of the biggest tech trends in sports technology right now. And leading that charge is STRIVR Labs Inc., who has already made a name for itself as a VR training platform that 23 college and pro teams have adopted to help train their athletes.

Today STRIVR announced a major addition to their company that will apply their virtual reality tech in a new and powerful way. STRIVR has launched a Fan Experience and VR Production division that will help teams, brands and fans utilize and enjoy virtual reality content and experiences.

The new division of STRIVR already has shown promise. It recently created a fully immersive and interactive experience in partnership with Madison Square Garden and the New York Rangers, that let fans have the opportunity to “step into the skates” of a Rangers goalie and block game-like shots from real New York Rangers players in a virtual Madison Square Garden.

“STRIVR has been an incredible partner to MSG,” said Andrew Lustgarten, EVP of Corporate Development & Strategy of The Madison Square Garden Company. “You truly feel like you are on the ice at The Garden, and it brings our fans to places they’ve never been before.”

We’ve seen examples of STRIVR creating virtual reality content with teams for fans. This move to launch a new division based on creating content and experiences to add to their existing industry leading VR athlete training platform makes a lot of sense.
