The club also gave Senior VP & General Counsel JOHN HIGGINS additional oversight of the finance department, while Senior VP/Strategy & Development MELANIE LENZ will now also oversee broadcasting and community relations. Meanwhile, the Rays promoted BRIAN RICHESON to VP/Ticket Sales & Marketing, ERIC WEISBERG to Senior Dir of Fan Experience, SEAN LISTON to Dir of Corporate Partnership Services and AMY MILLER to Dir of Marketing (Rays).

EXECS: Expansion MLS club LAFC named digital wallet firm Oink VP/Marketing JOANNE WONG Senior VP/Marketing (LAFC)....The Cubs named former MLBer JOHN BAKER Baseball Operations Assistant (Cubs)....Virginia Tech named Austin-based law firm Scarborough LLP Senior Advisor DANIELLE BARTELSTEIN Dir of Football Operations. She "becomes one of four women to hold the position" at an FBS program, and the "only one among the Power 5 schools" (ROANOKE.com, 12/19).
