Names In The News

DALE EARNHARDT JR. has "tweeted more than 7,000 times in less than two years." He "passed 1 million followers in March and quickly is closing in on DANICA PATRICK for the most-followed driver." Earnhardt said, "If I don't run good, I really don't like looking at it. I'm hesitant to go there, but then I go there because I know there's a lot of fans saying, 'Man, don't worry about it! We're going to get'em!'" He added, "I've never muted anyone I follow, but I have turned off their retweets. It's usually another competitor, and they're just retweeting a lot of things that are sponsored-related like, 'Go buy this! Check us out here! My sponsor and me are doing this!' So I turn off retweets if they don't have a lot of substance. I've found that quite useful" (USA TODAY, 12/4).
