Senators Partner With IBM On Analytics Initiative To Learn More About Fan Base

IBM is now the "official analytics and technology services provider of the Senators," according to the OTTAWA CITIZEN. The team said the goal of the partnership is to "apply behaviour-based, predictive analytics technologies from IBM to gain a deeper understanding of the (Senators’) fan base as individual consumers." The two companies will work with data collected to "personalize communications with fans." The information will all "be crunched through IBM’s customer intelligence system IBM Fan Insight." Meanwhile, the Senators on Monday also "took another step into the education of young fans" with the launch of Future Goals, a "digital educational course with a hockey theme," and it will be "available to students and teachers in the national capital region" (OTTAWA CITIZEN, 10/27).
