In Portland, Alan Brettman noted adidas "recently launched a new line of women's apparel" that differs from other offerings in that it "targets teens, the age 13- to 17-year-old female athlete." The Adigirl collection has "been overseen and managed" by adidas America VP/Training Kate Ridley and Senior Design Dir Katie Becker. Whether the collection will "resonate with its intended audience remains to be seen" (OREGONLIVE.com, 8/3).

HAPPY CAMPERS: In Tampa, Wade Tyler Millward noted Lazydays, "one of the largest dealers of RVs" in the U.S., has "announced a three-year branding agreement" with the Univ. of Florida. IMG brokered the deal, which "includes Lazydays branding at all five RV lots around the campus and on UF social media accounts, broadcast stations and websites." The UF agreement "follows a deal for an increased Lazydays presence" at Buccaneers home games (BIZJOURNALS.com, 8/3).

THUNDER VALLEY: Bristol Motor Speedway is encouraging fans attending the Aug. 22 Spring Cup Series Irwin Tools Night Race to wear black. The promotion is known as the Bristol Blackout Powered by Chevrolet (BMS).
