Five Alive: Mobile Ticketing Company Creates Reward Program For Three MLB Teams

S.F.-based mobile ticketing company Gametime has created a new reward program in which users who attend three winning home games for the Astros, Pirates or Royals during August using Gametime tickets will receive a credit of $5 per ticket toward future purchases. The company’s High Five$ program serves as a pilot effort toward a likely larger rollout across the country. The program begins Saturday and will continue into September. “We’d like to be the first app to cheer alongside fans,” Gametime CEO Brad Griffith wrote in a blog posting announcing the initiative. “We want to provide a virtual high-five, a high-five that helps bring even more fans into games and provides them a fantastic incentive to come to their next game.”
