Dolphins WR DeVante Parker Outpacing All NFL Rookies In Endorsement Deals

Dolphins WR DeVante Parker is "estimated to have so far signed more endorsement contracts than any other NFL rookie," according to Jonathan Lintner of the Louisville COURIER-JOURNAL. The first deal -- a four-year, "'very significant' one from adidas -- got Parker started." He then "worked with trading card companies Topps, Upper Deck, Leaf and Panini." He also endorses Bose, "plus Procter & Gamble brands Tide, Gillette, Pantene and Olay." His agent, Management One's Jimmy Gould, said, "I don't think anybody came close to the number of deals we got. I don't know that for certain, but I've checked around." But Gould said that he has "slowed down with Parker since the Dolphins rookie underwent corrective surgery in June" to his foot. When the "next offseason rolls around, Gould will start searching again." Parker's first round of endorsements "meant duties such as signing thousands of cards or attending Bose music events." Gould said that he could "see Parker making a commercial at some point with adidas" (Louisville COURIER-JOURNAL, 7/30).
