Fox Sports Digital named USA Today Sports Media Group VP/Digital Strategy MARK PESAVENTO Senior VP/Content. Pesavento, who helped launch USA Today’s "For the Win" site, will oversee all editorial and video content development for the company, as well as manage Fox Sports’ social media relationships with Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. He will report to Exec VP/Digital PETE VLASTELICA and relocate to L.A. Pesavento's career includes stints at Sporting News, LATimes.com and Yahoo Sports (John Ourand, Staff Writer). Pesavento today in a series of tweets wrote, "As I depart for @FOXSports, a big thank you to everyone at @USATODAYsports and @ForTheWin for making my time at USAT special. I couldn't be more proud of the team and what we accomplished. Thank you for always making me look good. cc: @themikefoss @JamieMottram. Also, I am damn proud of the @USATODAYsports mobile app. Props to @TimWGardner for his leadership of that killer team. He will oversee all operations for the team's new arena in S.F., set to open in '18.
