New Mexico AD PAUL KREBS, who is the “longest-tenured” AD in the Mountain West Conference, has "agreed to a new four-year contract” running through the ’18-19 academic year. Financial terms of the contract -- “a base salary of $319,261.80 plus other benefits and compensation such as retirement and up to $70,000 in performance bonuses based on the success of the school’s high-profile sports -- have not changed” (ALBUQUERQUE JOURNAL, 7/2).

EXECS: Sharks VP & Assistant GM WAYNE THOMAS "announced his retirement" after 22 years with the club and "more than 45 years in hockey" (MERCURYNEWS.com, 7/3)....The Canucks "fired three top executives who were key personnel" during the tenure of former GM MIKE GILLIS.
