Jaguars Adding Two Premium Seating Options At EverBank Field In Time For '15 NFL Season

The Jaguars yesterday announced they are "adding two new ticket and seating features for this upcoming season" as part of their new Jaguars Black program, according to Ryan O'Halloran of the FLORIDA TIMES-UNION. The program includes the addition of "four-person tables just outside the Bud Light Party Zone," as well as "eight-person chalets on the Terrace Suite deck overlooking the south end zone." The Jaguars "will have 20 of the four-person tables and it will feature all-inclusive food and beverage." The chalets also will have "all-inclusive food/beverage service and a sign in front of the chalet promoting the company that purchased it." The Jaguars said that this kind of option "is the first of its kind in the NFL." To facilitate the chalets, "a new row of seats in the Terrace Suite will be installed" (JACKSONVILLE.com, 6/23).

CALLING CAROLINA: In Charlotte, Jacob Steimer reported the NFL Panthers are "back in rebuilding mode" this offseason, as they are making an "upgrade to the distributed antenna system" at Bank of America Stadium, which will boost cell phone service. Panthers Dir of Stadium Operations Scott Paul said that the upgrade "will be followed" by an improved Wi-Fi system in time for the '16 season. Steimer noted this year's suite renovation "includes the refurbishing of 158 suites," which will "get new walls, seats, televisions, carpets and countertops" (CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, 6/20).
