Kansas State Reveals Premium Group-Seating Area In Corner Of Bill Snyder Family Stadium

Kansas State for the '15 football season will debut the Wabash Landing, a new 150-seat "two-tier viewing area located at the northwest corner of Bill Snyder Family Stadium," according to Kellis Robinett of the K.C. STAR. Cost will "range from $10,000 for nonconference games to $15,000 for Big 12 matchups." Wabash Landing is "currently under construction along with K-State’s new football complex on the north end of the stadium." Beer and wine will "be available through halftime," and groups "will be required to purchase the entire space." Initial reservations for Wabash Landing will "be chosen in accordance with K-State’s priority point order for donors that join the waiting list by June 12" (K.C. STAR, 5/27). In Topeka, Ken Corbitt reported the Wabash Landing ticket package "carries an estimated cost of $10,000 for the South Dakota and Louisiana Tech games, $13,000 for Baylor, Iowa State and West Virginia and $15,000 for TCU and Oklahoma." A $2,000 portion of the price tag "will be donated" to the athletic department's Ahearn Fund (CJONLINE.com, 5/26).
