ESPN Promotes Ed Erhardt, Justin Connolly To Take Over Sean Bratches' Responsibilities

ESPN promoted President of Global Customer Marketing & Sales ED ERHARDT and Senior VP/College Networks JUSTIN CONNOLLY to take over the responsibilities handled by SEAN BRATCHES at the company. Both Erhardt and Connolly will report directly to ESPN President JOHN SKIPPER. In recent weeks, both Bratches and his top lieutenant, Exec VP/Affiliate Sales & Marketing DAVID PRESCHLACK, said they were leaving, staying on until the end of the year in an advisory role. ESPN promoted Erhardt to President of Global Sales & Marketing, where he will oversee ad sales, marketing and research. Connolly will move from Charlotte to Bristol to take over as Exec VP/Disney & ESPN Affiliate Sales & Marketing -- the same group Connolly left to launch SEC Network. In addition to Skipper, Connolly also will report to Disney/ABC Television Group President BEN SHERWOOD. Connolly is a member of the SBJ/SBD Forty Under 40 HOF.
