ESPN.com's Bob Pockrass noted JTG Daugherty Racing "has its sponsorship virtually set" through '17, as Kroger will "increase its primary sponsorship of the team from half the season to two-thirds" of the 36-race Sprint Cup Series schedule. Kroger will be on the hood of A.J. Allmendinger's No. 47 Chevy for 24 events, and with Clorox/Kingsford "already signed up for 10 events a year" through '17, Allmendinger's car has "most of the races sponsored" for the next few years. Kroger is on the hood for 18 events this year (ESPN.com, 4/30).

HERE'S THE PITCH MAN: Under Armour has signed Dodgers P Clayton Kershaw to a multiyear extension. The three-time Cy Young Award-winner has been with UA since breaking into MLB in '08. As part of the extension, Kershaw will be featured in category-specific marketing, including in-store, digital and social media activation. Whether he will appear in a TV campaign is to be determined. UA’s MLB roster of endorsers also includes Giants C Buster Posey, Nationals RF Bryce Harper, Marlins P Jose Fernandez and Braves 1B Freddie Freeman (Austin Karp, Assistant Managing Editor).

TALK DERBY TO ME: In Louisville, Bailey Loosemore notes the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience, as an official sponsor of the Kentucky Derby Festival, will "release a special edition bottle" of '06 Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage Bourbon to "commemorate the 60th celebration of the festival" (Louisville COURIER-JOURNAL, 5/1).

SHOE SHOPPING: T'Wolves F Andrew Wiggins will have a limited-edition version of the adidas Crazylight Boost '15 to celebrate his Kia NBA Rookie of the Year award. The shoe is now available in limited quantities at adidas.com, Footlocker.com, Eastbay and at the Mall of America's Foot Locker near Minneapolis (adidas).
