Baseball And Softball Coaches Of All Levels Have New Digital Resource

Working with baseball and softball talents like John Mallee, Major league hitting coach, Tim Walton, Head Coach, University of Florida, and softball legend Sue Enquist, Zepp launched the new Zepp Coaches Center app which aims to be a new resource for baseball and softball coaches everywhere.

The Zepp Coaches Center provides an entire library of instructional content to coaches of all levels allowing them to see and learn how the experts think.  Included in the library are over 60 how-to videos, proven tips and drills, fun challenges, and practice plans.  The Zepp Coaches Center app is free, however a specially priced product bundle is also available.

Zepp wants baseball and softball players to practice with purpose.  With its latest in sports analytics technology, coaches and players will be able to set goals and achieve them by tracking and analyzing performance metrics, and improving and repeating the process.  Data is received instantly, and enables players to increase their ability to recognize pitches while building a short and efficient swing, hit more line drives, add bat speed and power (an additional 5 mph will help batters hit the ball up to 25 feet farther), develop quick hands, and stay longer in the plane zone.  Improved batting performance increases the odds for at least a base hit, and at most, a home run.

Zepp offers a set of 3D analysis features that include 3D swing, bat speed, hand speed, time to impact, attack angle and vertical angle.  Its Video Analysis features include pro swing, record and compare to pros.  As an added bonus, if batters take 30 swings per week, Zepp Insights will crunch the numbers (90,000 data points) and teams will receive a detailed and personalized report that analyzes the performance.

Setting up Zepp Coaches Center takes just a few easy steps.  First, batters attach the mount to the bat, and then insert the sensor.  Second, connect wirelessly via Bluetooth to see the swing data.  Third, analyze the swing on a mobile device.  Players can start right away by downloading the free app that includes video tools and pro swing features.  But for optimal performance tracking, teams can purchase the Zepp multi-sensor to capture 3D swing data.
