Overnight Ratings: CBS Sees Spike For PGA Tour Coverage; Fox Up For UFC

CBS was the beneficiary of Jordan Spieth's win at The Masters last week, despite Spieth not winning the event and CBS not having live coverage on Sunday. The net drew a 2.6 overnight rating for the final round of the PGA Tour RBC Heritage yesterday, marking the event's best Sunday figure for the event since '04. This increase came despite CBS beginning its coverage at 3:00pm ET, which was after the event was over. Tee times for the event had been moved up with adverse weather coming in, and Jim Furyk had secured the win before CBS came on the air. Meanwhile, Fox drew a 1.8 for its UFC telecast on Saturday night, up from a 1.6 for the same weekend last year (Easter weekend).

The chart below lists overnight ratings from weekend sports telecasts on broadcast TV over the weekend.
