Rory McIlroy is a force to be reckoned with on the golf course. With 16 professional wins and 4 majors at age 25, there should be a lot more greatness to watch from the young Irishman. With all that success, Rory’s social media following is growing at a rapid pace. Sure, winners get a ton of followers, but it takes a lot of work to build a social media presence that keeps fans engaging at a high level.

So, what does a year on Facebook and Instagram look like for Rory McIlroy? Rory’s top five topics for the past year on Facebook and Instagram were Golf (33%), Winning (13%), Lifestyle (10%), Product (7%), and Contests (6%). How many fans does he gain per month? How does he perform on social media for his banner sponsor Nike? Check out the MVP Index infographic below to find the answers to these questions and more.
