HarborCenter President JOHN KOELMEL is “leaving his post” at the helm of the “hockey, entertainment and lodging destination as construction of the 20-story downtown project nears completion” in Buffalo. He will step down “over the next couple of months.” The Sabres “did not say why he is leaving or what he would do next.” Koelmel’s responsibilities “will gradually be assumed” by Sabres Chief Development Officer CLIFF BENSON and VP/Arena Operations STAN MAKOWSKI. The Sabres in a statement said that the pair will work with Pegula Sports & Entertainment President & CEO KIM PEGULA “to oversee HarborCenter’s remaining construction and ongoing operations” (BUFFALO NEWS, 3/25).

DIFFERENT SWING: Performance Sports Group named Srixon/Cleveland Golf President TODD HARMAN Exec VP/Baseball & Softball. Harman replaces CLIFF HALL, who led PSG's integration with Eastern Baseball/Softball (PSG). Srixon/Cleveland Golf CFO BILL BIRD will take over for Harman as interim President (Srixon/Cleveland Golf).

She has been SWA since ’81 (UNC)....Marketing firm Pitch Int’l promoted Head of Asia-Pacific GUY LE GREW to the newly created position of Head of North America out of the company’s new N.Y. office (Pitch Int’l)....Moko Social Media named InterMedia Partners Managing Partner LEO HINDERY to its BOD as a Non-Exec Dir, effective April 1 (Moko)....Columbia Sportswear named former U.S. Bank President of Oregon & Southwest Washington MALIA WASSON to its BOD. She will become the third woman on the Columbia BOD (OREGONLIVE.com, 3/23).
