Eagle Has Landed: Under Armour Signs 10-Year Extension With Boston College

Under Armour has “extended its deal with Boston College, signing a 10-year contract to continue to outfit the school's intercollegiate teams,” according to Jeff Barker of the Baltimore SUN. BC had “previously jumped from Reebok to Under Armour in a six-year agreement” announced in ‘09. UA said in addition to outfitting BC’s teams, the deal includes “integration into the brand’s marketing, social media, in-store, and grassroots activations.” Terms “were not disclosed.” UA’s other collegiate partners include Notre Dame, Navy, Auburn, Texas Tech, Northwestern and South Carolina (BALTIMORESUN.com, 3/12).
