RBC has signed a multiyear deal with golfer Jason Day, who joins a golf roster that includes Matt Kuchar, Jim Furyk and Brandt Snedeker. The RBC logo will appear on Day's shirt and golf bag. Day, who is fourth in the World Golf Rankings, also will participate in future marketing initiatives and client events for RBC, and act as a global brand ambassador. The sponsorship debuted Thursday during the first round of the WGC-Cadillac Championship in Miami (RBC).

REELING IN A BIG FISH: The PBA has signed Bass Pro Shops as a presenting partner for the PBA League playoffs later this month in Portland, Maine. The team event runs March 28-30, with coverage airing on four taped ESPN broadcasts March 29, April 5, April 12 and April 19. The deal calls for 30-second Bass Pro commercials during the broadcasts, as well as on-site signage, digital and social activations. Shamrock Sports & Entertainment, PBA’s marketing and sales agency, negotiated the deal. Shamrock is in discussions with Bass Pro for an expanded multiyear deal with PBA, SSE President & Founder Brian Corcoran said (Josh Carpenter, Staff Writer).

BEST BUDS: The FA announced a new long-term agreement with Budweiser, which will see the brand become the official beer partner of the FA Cup until '18. Budweiser has served as the official beer of the FIFA World Cup since '86. Budweiser will continue to bring the cup competition closer to the fans through a program of activity, including a continuation of the Budweiser Club Futures program (FA).
