Turner Sports To Launch March Madness-Themed YouTube Channel For First Time

Turner Sports, which manages the NCAA’s digital rights, later today is launching a March Madness YouTube channel for the first time. The new channel -- YouTube.com/MarchMadness -- will feature real-time highlights and video recaps from all 67 games of the NCAA men's tournament. Press conferences, game previews and analysis will also be part of the channel’s content to supplement the live action that appears on TBS, CBS, TNT and truTV. Between now and the start of the tournament, the channel will carry archived video clips. Turner Sports VP/Business Operations Mark Johnson has overseen development of the new platform. Four NCAA sponsors -- AT&T, Oreo, Reese’s and UPS -- will have branded segments on the channel, as well as Turner-run NCAA.com. Those include Dunk of the Day presented by Oreo; Naismith Trophy presented by AT&T; Solve of the Day presented by UPS; and Starting Lineup presented by Reese’s.
