HOME ALONE: In this ad for EA Sports' "2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil," Landon Donovan engaged in some good-natured self deprecation regarding his being left off the final U.S. roster.

CAMPUS TOUR: ESPN promoted the new "SportsCenter" studio with this parkour-themed video that showcases the net's Bristol campus.

RUNNING DIALOGUE: The Onion parodied the growing trend of fitness-tracking devices, describing a fictitious piece of technology that told runners why they run.

CHILD’S PLAY: Oyo Sports put its spin on the top 10 highlights from Yankees SS Derek Jeter's storied career.

PICKING UP THE BILLS: Kelly Pegula, the daughter of new Bills owners Terry and Kim Pegula, offered a behind-the-scenes look at the ceremonies that marked their taking over the franchise.

BRACKET IN: ESPN emphasized the bracket-like nature of the college football regular season and the critical moments that have eliminated all but four teams from the College Football Playoff.
