PepsiCo promoted European unit CEO ENDERSON GUIMARAES to Exec VP/Global Categories & Operations. Guimaraes will "assume the responsibilities" of PepsiCo President ZEIN ABDALLA, who is leaving the company "at the end of December." But Guimaraes "isn't being given the title of president," which INDRA NOOYI held before becoming CEO in '06 (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 12/2). 

EXECS: Learfield Sports promoted Central Region Senior VP BOB AGRAMONTE to Chief Business Development Officer. Univ. of North Carolina Tar Heel Sports Properties GM GARY SOBBA will join Agramonte and VP/New Business Development TOM STEVENS as VP on the team. Meanwhile, Learfield promoted Southeast VP/National Sales CHRIS SANDERS to Central Region Senior VP.
