New Bucks Promo Offers Fans Opportunity To Get '15-16 Season Tickets For Free

Bucks co-Owners Marc Lasry and Wes Edens are offering fans who buy select full season tickets for the upcoming campaign the chance to receive the same tickets at no cost for the '15-16 season. The offer is part of the team’s new “Cheer The Future” promotion that requires fans to commit to a two-year season-ticket buy with discounts offered in year two of the agreement. The plan calls for fans to receive a discount on the price of '15-16 season tickets based on how many games they attend during the upcoming season. Fans who buy select season tickets and attend at least 30 Bucks games in '14-15 will receive a 50% discount off the same seats for the following season. Fans who buy and attend at least 35 or more games during the upcoming season will receive a 75% discount for '15-16. Fans who buy and attend all 40 Bucks home games in '14-15 will receive the same tickets free for the entire '15-16 season. The select season tickets are loaded onto an electronic ticket card and the card must be scanned in the arena for the discount to be applied. The team is limiting the number of discounted offers to the first 500 season tickets sold between today and Aug. 30. The top price for those available season-ticket packages is $1,545, so if each of those were to draw the maximum, full-season discount for '15-16, the Bucks would be foregoing $772,500 in revenue on those 500 tickets for that future season. “We see it as an opportunity to reconnect to our fan base,” said Bucks Senior VP & Chief Revenue Officer Ted Loehrke. “We are confident that the more fans see our young dynamic team, the more they will want to see it in the future.” The '14-15 schedule will be released tonight.
