Foot Locker Releases Series Of Ad Featuring Top NBA Draft Prospect Dante Exum

Foot Locker today on YouTube launched a series of ads with adidas featuring NBA Draft prospect Dante Exum. The videos, part of Foot Locker's "Approved" marketing platform, focus on the Australian player's lack of celebrity status in the U.S., while centering on the idea that "Life Changes After the Draft." In one of the spots, titled "Paparazzi," Exum expresses concern about going to a Foot Locker store because there may be paparazzi there, causing his friends to laugh. Another spot, "Autograph," shows Exum being caught practicing his autograph (Foot Locker). NBA.com's Lang Whitaker writes, "I don’t know how good an NBA player Exum will turn out to be, but he seems like a natural in front of the camera" (NBA.com, 6/23).
