Spurs Owner PETER HOLT is stepping down as NBA BOG Chair. NBA Commissioner ADAM SILVER said that T'Wolves Owner GLEN TAYLOR "will fill in for Holt on an interim basis before a permanent replacement is selected" at the BOG's next meeting in October (MYSANANTONIO.com, 4/18).

EXECS: Tulsa-based BOK Financial Chair GEORGE KAISER has been approved by the NBA BOG as an investor with the Thunder. Kaiser is purchasing the ownership interest from Tapstone Energy Chair & CEO TOM WARD (Thunder)....The Nevada State Athletic Commission named ROBERT BENNETT Exec Dir, replacing KEITH KIZER (ESPN.com, 4/18)....Case Western Reserve Univ. named Yale Univ. Senior Associate AD AMY BACKUS AD. She becomes the school's first full-time female AD and is a member of both the NCAA D-I Academic Performance Advisory Group and its Legislative Council. Backus replaces DAVID DILES, who left in September for the same position at VMI (CLEVELAND.com, 4/18)....Wittenburg Univ. named Carthage College Associate AD GARY WILLIAMS AD (Wittenburg).
