Overnight Ratings: NASCAR Sees Decline For Auto Club 500 Figure From Fontana

Fox drew a 4.0 overnight the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Auto Club 400 from Fontana yesterday afternoon, down from a 4.5 overnight for the same race last year. NBC drew a 1.8 overnight for the final round of the PGA Tour Arnold Palmer Invitational yesterday, which saw Matt Every win his first Tour event. That figure is up slightly from a 1.7 overnight for the window last year, which was nothing but rainout coverage. Last year's final round was suspended due to inclement weather, with Tiger Woods in the lead, and finished on Monday on Golf Channel.

The chart below lists overnight ratings from weekend sports telecasts on broadcast TV.
