Mutual of Omaha yesterday announced that seven pro swimmers who are currently training for the '16 Rio Games have joined the company's Gold Medal Team of endorsers. They are Matt McLean; Anthony Ervin; Allison Schmitt; Caitlin Leverenz; Jimmy Feigen; Conor Dwyer; and Michael Andrew (Mutual of Omaha).

HYDROXYCUT A DEAL: The AP reported Hydroxycut will return to Verizon IndyCar Series team KVSH Racing this season as "sponsor for seven race weekends, and the co-primary sponsor for Sebastien Bourdais in the Indianapolis 500." The extension of Hydoxycut "fills the car for KVSH." Mistic Electronic Cigarettes "had already signed on for seven races and will share sponsorship with Hydroxycut at Indy." Hydroxycut "will be the primary sponsor" for the team during IndyCar's season opener March 30 at St. Petersburg (AP, 3/17).

WHEELS & DEALS: Kwikset announced a deal with Richard Childress Racing to sponsor the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series No. 31 Chevrolet driven by Ryan Newman. Kwikset will be the primary sponsor for the May 10 race at Kansas Speedway and an associate sponsor for all other races in '14 (Kwikset)....Kyle Busch Motorsports announced that Dollar General will be the primary sponsor of the No. 51 Toyota Tundra for four NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races in '14. Owner/driver Kyle Busch will be behind the wheel for three of the events with Erik Jones driving the fourth (KBM).
