Serie A club AS Roma has hired SEAN BARROR as the team’s new Chief Commercial Officer. Barror, a longtime industry executive who previously worked as Chief Revenue Officer for Raptor Sports Properties, will be responsible for the team’s business operations. Barror will report directly to team CEO ITALO ZANZI. AS Roma investor and President JAMES PALLOTTA also is a founder of Raptor Sports Properties. Roma is a Raptor Sports Properties client and Barror was involved in the team’s business operations in his role at Raptor Sports. Before joining Raptor, Barror worked for two years as Senior VP/Sales for MSG. Prior to MSG, Barror was Celtics Senior VP/Corporate Sales & Business Development (John Lombardo, Staff Writer).

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Aramark promoted President of Sports & Entertainment MARC BRUNO to COO of its Sports, Leisure & Corrections group, replacing BRENT FRANKS. Bruno will have oversight of the sports and entertainment, parks and destinations and corrections business units. Franks will assume the role of COO for the Education Group. Aramark Regional VP CARL MITTLEMAN will succeed Bruno as President of Sports & Entertainment (THE DAILY).

EXECS: Back9Network named Time Warner Cable Dir of Engineering HARRY GOLDBERG VP/Operations & Engineering (Back9Network)....The Indians named former MLBer MATT KATA Manager of Youth Baseball Development & Initiatives (Indians)....The Automobile Club de l'Ouest, the organizing body behind the 24 Hours of Le Mans, named former CART President & CEO ANDREW CRAIG North American Representative of the World Endurance Championship (STATESMAN.com, 3/5).
