Heat's Haslem, Andersen To Model Former Teammate's Underwear Brand

Heat Fs Udonis Haslem and Chris Andersen will model underwear by brand Pant Saggin Dezign after former teammate Mike Miller, who works with the company, "decided to expand his marketing empire beyond his energy drink," according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida SUN-SENTINEL. PSD provides a "colorful approach to men's under apparel." PSD co-Founder Curt Flaitz said of Miller, "Two years ago ... he fell in love with our brand and then he became a partner about a year and half ago." Andersen said, "This is all Mike Miller's doing. He's kind of just using the theme of my tattoos and everything for the design of the underwear." Haslem: "It's just a favor I was doing for Mike Miller. It's really more his gig. I was just helping out with the promotion. That's my guy, so I pushed the envelope a little bit for him." Winderman notes there will be "limits" to the modeling, so "no need for the family-oriented Heat to grow overly alarmed." Andersen: "It's not like I'm going to be standing there in my underwear. I'm going have some jeans on or some camo on. I'm not just going to have underwear on." Winderman notes exposure "largely will be limited to waistband, at least with the Heat duo." While Haslem "already has done his understated photo shoot, plans with Andersen are being finalized during this road trip with his manager in Denver." Andersen's line "will launch in LeBron James' Store UNKNWN in mid-January," and the company's products also can be found at "select sports and lifestyle stores." Bills WR Stevie Johnson was the first pro athlete to work with PSD (South Florida SUN-SENTINEL, 12/27).
