Nevada regents on Friday "unanimously approved" UNLV interim AD TINA KUNZER-MURPHY as the permanent AD. She is the "first woman and the first UNLV alumna" to take the position. She will "receive an annual salary of $240,000, with the potential to earn $10,000 performance bonuses." Her contract "includes benefits, such as a car, 12 tickets per game for all UNLV sports and an annual $25,000 bonus for each year UNLV wins the Governor's Cup in a friendly rivalry series that pits" UNLV against the Univ. of Nevada. Kunzer-Murphy's contract ends Dec. 31, 2016. She replaces former AD JIM LIVENGOOD (LASVEGASSUN.com, 12/6).

EXECS: WTA CMO ANDREW WALKER will leave the post Dec. 31 and is "examining career opportunities." Walker "plans to continue living in London." It is "not believed" the WTA plans to fill the vacated post, with the circuit "said to be considering adding a president down the line" (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 12/9 issue)....Patriots.com reporter BRIAN LOWE on Friday left the position "after 13 years" with the team. He is "embarking on a career in public relations" (ESPNBOSTON.com, 12/8)....Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kan., named AMANDA SHANKLE Group Sales & Marketing Associate (Intrust).
